From bottom right, moving clockwise: a) Zisya Aurbach, pictured in the memorial photo with husband Mendel and son Hodel; all perished in the Holocaust. b) anonymous Zinkovite. c) Shlomo (single name identification only) the tall, broadly built, full-bearded and mustached husband of Rivkah Shlomo, who with his wife, owned a chalk-selling business; a quiet and reserved man, he handled and weighed the chalk for customers. d) Rivkah Shlomo, a short, portly, dark-skinned woman who wore a wig and who handled bartering for the chalk she and her husband sold. She traded for farm products–chickens, geese, onions, a ring of garlic. She liked to tell people she was from Kiev, the Ukraine’s capitol, not Zinkov. They perished in the Holocaust. e) anonymous Zinkovite. f) Rachel Senders, wife of Lippe Senders. Her husband, Lippe, and son, Moishe, were tanners. All perished in the Holocaust. g) anonymous Zinkovite. h) Itzik Hirsch Wolfbein, pictured in the memorial book in side by side photos with his wife (name not given). Both perished in the Holocaust. i) daughter of Itzy Maykes, fate unknown.
